What is mComic?
mComic is a comic book viewing application that provides highly engaging and customised animated viewing for comic style content on mobile Smartphone Devices.


What Handset devices are support by mComic?
mComic currently supports the Nokia Series 60 platform. Other platforms will be added once Barefoot receives some support from these other platforms.

What are Binders?
Binders are a module that opens up in mComic. A Binder contains information with reference to pages that are supported for that binder. Much like a book, a book binder contains the title of a book.
The binder then contains the pages of the book.

Only mComic will support these binders. Please be sure that mComic is installed prior to installing any mComic Binder. mComic is FREE and comes included sample content. Download mComic here.

New Binders of different content material are being available frequently.

How do I install mComic?

Before you install mComic, please make sure that your device is supported, and that you have enough memory available on your device.
mComic is better suited to more recent models because of the increase of speed and memory capacity.

Please note: If your device has a Memory Card, always install any applications to the memory card. Once you have many Binders in your library, you will want the space on your memory card.

Installing mComic

PC Software that came with your device for transferring files

If you are installing using a version of Nokia PC suite, select mComic.sis on your PC and follow the instructions using the manual provided with your device.

Bluetooth û make sure you can send any file from your PC to you Handset

If you are installing mComic sending the file to your device using Bluetooth, once mComic.sis is in your inbox, click on the file, and mComic will automatically install.

Cable û use your file manager to transfer files between your PC and Handset

If you are installing mComic through a cable, then copy the mComic.sis. file onto the device, then using the file manager on your device, select mComic.sis and mComic will automatically install.

Please note: Any attachments sent to your inbox via Bluetooth should be deleted once you have installed those attachments. This will ensure that you free up your device memory

How do I install the Binders?

Once you have mComic installed on your device, and you are able to access the application on your handset, Click on Options, About, and make sure you see your Device ID number.

Upon downloading a purchased or FREE mComic packaged Binder, you will need to get this file across to your handset. This can be done in the following ways;
Bluetooth û right click on the binder [.tbk] and send to Bluetooth device [select the Bluetooth device that has mComic installed]. This will now send the .tbk file to your handset inbox.
Open up the new message, and the binder should install itself automatically if you have setup everything correctly.
By cable or using the file manager on your handset. Transfer the .tbk file onto your Memory Card.
Once the file has been sent to you memory file, click on the .tbk file and the binder will automatically start installing itself.
OTA (over the air) such as WAP or Mobile Internet.
If you know the link that your purchased Binder has been allocated, start downloading the file, and the .tbk file should install itself once the whole file has been downloaded.
