I HAVE USED CHINESE PHONES FOR SOME TIME NOW.

I HAVE EVEN USED A CHINESE COPY OF N95 8GB.

I TELL U CLEARLY AND FRANKLY-->

THESE PHONES DO NOT WORK IN THE REALLITY. DOES NOT WORK MEAN THAT THE FUNCTIONS OF THE ORIGINAL PHONE ARE NOT AT ALL THERE IN THESE PHONES.

AS U ASKED LET ME TELL U, INT THESE PHONES U CANT RUN WIFI. THOUGH GPRS WORKS IN A FEW MODELS.(WORKS IN ONE OF MINE TOO)

SECOND, NO PC SUPPORT IS THERE. U CAN'T USE THE PHONES AS A MODEM,NOT MUCH LINKING WITH THE PC ANYWAY.

THIRD, EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT JUST LOOK TO BE FUNNY, BUT THESE PHONES DONT EVEN USE THE CORRECT ENGLISH

MY PHONE SAYS" I AM BUSINESS TODAY".FUNNY RIGHT? WHAT THEY MEAN IS THAT " I AM BUSY TODAY

IF All THIS IS NOT ENOUGH A THING FOR U THEN HERE IS THE ADD ON,

NO SOFTWARES,MAPS ETC. ARE COMPATIBLE IN THESE.

nope at allll ..!! my father bought it for three months only then broke down all function gone. 1 st scene blue screen after 2days black screen. 350 bugs gone !! they are all cheating money .

As MArik said earlier if its made by nokia in china..then no problem.. even Apple's ipods are made in china... its cool if its chinese made as long the brand is makin it..

but if you are to buy a chinese make model..then that would be a great risk.. agreed they are cheaper and have a similar look to the original ones..

But beauty ain't skin deep..

First the biggest issue is with the support... any problem and you won't find anyone to fix it.. more often than not, its cheaper to get a new chinese phone than to fix the old one.. they do not have dedicated customer service..

Even the functions are lacking if you use your phone more than just making calls...

I would suggest you buy a branded one..especially when it comes to stuff like cell phones and electronics.. worth the extra money... and peace of mind!!! I don't think there is one reputed chinese brand in electronics.. for a reason...
