Hi friends,
does virus affects on java phones?? Well, my answer is NO. But some of my friends using sony ericsson telling that virus is detecting on their phones..(k750i,etc..). ie, scanning with a pc software.. but i strongly believe that it wont affect the phone. But the problm is that, on one of my friend's phone, memory card is not detecting! and hangs frequently! I don knw what actually dis is? and i cant answer their questions too..still i believe that viruses don affect java phones. But wat vl b the problem with that card?? Some others also facing similar problm in addition to error with music player..

java phones arent affected by viruses

it can have a virus but i wont harm the phone

except if its a UIQ java phone

like UIQ3 UIQ2

which is the phones are

W950i,W960i,P990i,

etc etc

all of them are UIQ3 Symbian OS9 so they are aware and could be affect by any virus and could harm

unlike the java phones like K750i,K800i

they are just java phone and doesnt have an OS (Operating System)

maybe your friend's phone have a hardware problem like some others had..

or a firmware problem maybe?

I too strongly believe that. But their problm started after the transfer of two files via bluetooth.. dats y they are arguing like this!

i guess there was something problem on the file that they've been transfered or something

but i belive its a hardware/firmware problem my friend
