Nokia Software

Hi guys, im new to this. Just wondering if anyone knows why when i start up a game on my N80 the game screen is always small in the top corner and its too small to play. this happens with nearly every game i play. The phone has a big screen but its as if it is not compatible even though it says on the site. PLease help and thanks in advance

check the settings.
or maybe the game is too small for n80`s screen.as i know the screen is 352 x 416,maybe the games you`re having installed are 176x208 or even 176x144.
try to install games for n80 and then tell us how it is.

yeah i tried nokia n80 compatible ones and it still does it i just have no idea how to fix it

hmm then i really have no idea.
the best thing would be a reinstallation of soft or format your phone.then you`ll see if you get the same problem.normally would be not to have the same problem.
if you try it,let us know

ok i might format the phone but would that mean i lose everything on it, including updated software and stuff like that. Its funny u know cos i have a nokia 7610 also and ther games work absolutely fine on that. This phone annoys me

well you`ll lose things ... but then it means that the phone must work good and you shouldn`t have the same problems with games.

i`m not sure on n80 if it`s the same.i`ll look and i`ll let you know

1. Start your phone in safe mode by holding the pen/pencil key on phone's keypad when you start your phone. Don't let go until you are asked to key in your pin code or lock code.
2. Pull out your memory card and restart your phone. If your phone runs normally, it means your card is corrupted. Just format your MMC.
However, if it is still the same, proceed to the next step, reformatting
3. Reformatting:
-Restore original phone settings-*#7780#
-Soft format-*#7370#

That`s all i know and found on other forums about format

thanks for that, i dont have a pin code on my phone. its not that puk code is it cos i dont wanna lock my phone. thanks heaps for ur help
