Nokia Software

Hello. The problem is that my Nokia 5300 fell into mud. I managed to clean most of the mud, but it got stuck into the USB port and recharger port. I tested, everything works fine, phone recharges and data is transferred as usual. But still I hate the fact that there's mud in the ports. So. Any aid or tip how to clean it? Phones are microtechonolgy so chemicals won't work I guess

o damn!! thats real bad!!! even i have a n5300 n have experienced the problem of cleaning its usb port and charger thats often gets really dirty with dust....... well i suggest that u take a pointed object( like a pin or something), take one end which is not sharp so that it does not damage the phone and tie it to a moist cloth....then go ahead and try ur luck with the mud!!

thanks^^ i've tried to clean it with a match but never tried moist cloth. great idea!

i think giving it to the service centre for a full check up will be the best action. why coz if any mud gets into the circuits inside, it can cause lots of problems.

true. but i'm not sure how much does it cost. they could fix it up though. and fix the slider so it doens't wobble as much. :d
