Dude, it happens when a little pin that's supposed to be bent by the side of the entrance of the mmc slot has become straight as a result of frequent use. unscrew the reader and bend that pin by the left. if u don't understand, i'll have to take photo's of my mmc reader showing u what to do.

it's not a problem with ur reader.
