Wanted to add something on this software,
Actually mp3 gain is a software to synchronise the loudness of all the mp3s in ur pc. By default it sets the loudness to ~89db. Using loudness of >100db is not good for the ears and the speakers. it causes crackling sounds.

MP3 Gain is indeed a very wonderful app. as it can set the loudness of all the mp3 files in ur pc to the same value, thus we dont need to adjust the volume every time when the song changes.
